“I told my parents, if anything happens to me, just let me go.”

One resident makes plans on the chance she won’t survive.

“Everyone is very scared at this time; you can die at any second. Period. There are so many cases out there where residents have died from COVID-19. You just never know what will happen. I told my parents, if anything happens to me, just let me go. They mailed a box of masks from China that they collected during the surge of coronavirus cases. My parents had a very difficult time buying those masks, but whenever they got a chance to buy some, they would collect them together and save them. After they had gathered 100 masks, they mailed them to me. My parents never used them for themselves, instead they saved the masks for me.”
