I'm most scared of getting infected and bringing the illness home to my children.

The happiest moments of the crisis so far have come from the love and support that I have seen for the medical community in large during this pandemic.

The saddest parts are feeling isolated from my family and friends, as we all struggle not to infect each other.

My husband, Tim, has been the most influential person in my life. He has been steadfast and with me throughout everything. I could not do anything without him.

I wish the world knew that physicians also struggle with the same insecurities that everyone else does. Just because we put on a brave face does not mean that we have our life all together.
