A doctor describes his and his wife’s bold choice to work together to treat COVID-19 patients at the heart of the crisis.

As a physician couple, my wife and I have never worked together. We wanted to help on the frontlines in this global pandemic. We wanted to do whatever we could to use our skills to help others. 

We celebrated our anniversary by treating COVID-19 at a pop-up hospital at the epicenter in northern New Jersey. It was so rewarding to treat patients and be together. This is why we both entered the medical field.
